Do you need to replace the ribbon cable from your Apuljack replacment fridge display for Dometic?

150cm(1.5m) of 16 core cable, includes a fitted 16-way IDC connector. as well as the IDC connector for the display board that has to be fitted after installing the ribbon as it will not fit through the slot in the fridge.

NOTE: This will NOT fit an original display because they are soldered directly on those units.
