Description

This item is the Schaudt approved solar regulator for EBL units. It is a small compact unit measuring only 110x75x56 but is capable of supplying 18A. The solar input is suitable for panels up to 32V open circuit voltage and will accommodate up to 275W, e.g. 5 x 50W panels or 2 x 125W panels. The regulator features a Maximum Peak Power Tracking (MPPT) algorithm to enable maximum power  extraction and input to the batteries. This can extract up to 10% more power than a normal PWM controller.

The ‘living area’/leisure battery is given priority over the vehicle battery with a final charge voltage of both of 14.2V. It can be connected to the EBL unit or directly to the batteries. It is supplied complete with all the leads, connectors, cables, fuse holders etc. to facilitate connection either directly or through the EBL unit. It also contains the connector lead to correctly display the charge currents for DT type control panels.
